(Web Desk) – In the wake of rising tensions between Pakistan and India, the specific airspace of Karachi and Lahore has been partially closed for one month.

Following the Pahalgam false flag operation, the escalating tensions between Pakistan and India led to the partial closure of Karachi and Lahore’s specific airspace for one month, from May 1 to May 31.

The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) issued a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) regarding the closure, stating that the airspace in the flight information regions of Karachi and Lahore will be closed from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM daily. During this period, commercial flight operations will continue via alternative routes.

According to the Pakistan Airport Authority, the decision to close the airspace was made for security reasons. However, officials have stated that the closure of the specific airspace will not significantly impact flight operations.
